The 21st-Century Economics series provides students with
an understanding of the key components of modern economics and the markets that
facilitate the exchange of goods and services through books on depressions,
recessions, the stock market, inflation, supply and demand, taxation,
globalization, and international trade. For instance, students will come to
understand not only how a depression affects a national economy but the ways in
which it affects both individuals and international trade relations. Strong
